Step 3
Set the Top level category as your Blog homepage by selecting the Blog Home layout.
Step 4
Start adding subcategories for your blog posts.
Step 5
Check if you have "Hide empty categories" enabled.
Go to each of your catalog containers that have it enabled and click "save" to re-index your categories. You will want to do this each time you add new categories.
Now you can start creating posts and adding them to your subcategories.
π Important: You don't need to add posts to your homepage top level category. The homepage will show all the latest posts by default.
Blog URLs
You can choose your URL slugs that best suit you.
Making Your Blog Accessible on the Storefront
When you've created the Blog category structure, you'll see the URL Key field is populated with the default url key 'News'.
You can add this to your webstore URL to create the Blog link ie
You can then use this link anywhere on your webstore to give your customer access to it. You can add it to your header nav by editing your menu in Appearance > Menu Manager and adding it as a custom link or alternatively, attach the link to a banner image in the Banner Manager :)
