Here is an over view of the imports.

  1. Import Quicklists: This is for importing lists of quicklists. This only creates the header as seen by the field rules.

  2. Import Quicklist Items: This is used for importing items to either manually created lists or lists created in bulk with the above import.

  3. Import Quicklist Users: For user restricted type lists this is for importing users to this type of list in bulk.

  4. Import Quicklist Items/Users: This is a combination of import 2 and 3. A quciklist must have already either been imported or manually created.

The rules for 'Quicklist Items/Users' import are shown below:

The rules for alternative quicklist imports can be found within the Quicklists' import section.

Sample Import Files

You can download a sample import file from each import:

Import Quicklist Groups

Importing items in Quicklist Groups is only supported in one import, the Account specific Quicklist Items Import. This will match or create groups using the name. It's not supported to import just Quicklist Groups or remove Quicklist Groups through imports. Only the matching and creating of Quicklist Groups while importing Items is supported.

The three Group fields are optional. They must be in the import file but do not need to be filled in.

  • Group Name

  • Group Default Quantity

  • Delete Record in Group

Migration Import For All Accounts

These reports do not support all features but are useful for migration. They can be used to create quicklists for all accounts in a single import. They do not support Quicklist groups.

These are 2 other imports for quciklists which are not inside a customer record from the Accounts list page.

  1. Import Quicklists: This is for importing lists of quicklists. This only creates the header as seen by the field rules. This import requires a customer ID as you are not currently under a specific account so it must be entered into the additional column on this template.

  2. Import Quicklist Items/Users: This is a combination of import 2 and 3 of the imports listed in the previous section. A quciklist must have already either been imported or manually created. This also requires a customer ID as you are not currently inside a specific customer record.
