A Quick List is a feature that allows users to easily organize and manage products they are interested in. Quick Lists are designed to help users keep track of items they wish to purchase, compare, or revisit later. This feature is particularly useful for creating shopping lists, and wish lists, or for saving items for future reference.

User Roles

Quick Lists offer flexible settings at the user role level:

Access Quick List provides users with view-only access to existing Quick Lists, while Add Shared Quick List enables them to create lists that can be shared and edited by other team members. Additionally,

Add Personal Quick List allows users to create private lists for their own use.

These role-based permissions ensure that Quick Lists can be customized and managed effectively according to each user's needs and responsibilities.

When a user selects either Add Personal Quick List or Add Shared Quick List, the Access Quick List permission is automatically enabled to ensure they have view-only access to existing Quick Lists as well.

FAQs

What happens to my previous role options when I enable the new Quick Lists?

The "View" permission corresponds to the "Access Quick List" setting. Permissions for "Edit" and "Delete" will be managed through individual user and account settings. The ability to Add Quick Lists is controlled by two new options: "Add Shared Quick List" and "Add Personal Quick List".
