Step 1: Locate Audioeye in the App Store

Begin by logging into your Admin dashboard. Navigate to the App Store section and search for the Audioeye app.

Step 2: Configure the App

Upon selecting the Audioeye app, you’ll be presented with the app configuration options. Here, you can customize:

  • The Toolbar Location

  • The Toolbar Color

  • The Toolbar theme (Light or Dark)

These settings ensure the tool is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, blending seamlessly into your site.

Step 3: Installing the App

After configuring the app to your liking, click 'Save and Install.' Doing so will automatically create a new content page on your website, featuring your accessibility statement and a button to activate the Audioeye toolbar.

Next, head over to the Menu Manager, either by utilising the links on the App description or by manually navigating through your Admin dashboard, to add this newly created accessibility page to your site's navigation. This ensures that visitors can easily find and utilize the accessibility features.

Step 4: Experience your site's enhanced accessibility

Now that everything is set up, visit the accessibility page on your website and click the button to activate the Audioeye toolbar. This toolbar provides users with a suite of tools to tailor their browsing experience to their needs. Tools include:

  • Adjustments for text size & font types

  • Color contrast & shift settings

  • Cursor enhancements and guides

  • Page navigation guides

  • and more...

By integrating Audioeye, you're not only making your site more accessible but also improving the user experience for all visitors. This step towards inclusivity can significantly enhance the overall perception of your brand while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.

What is AudioEye?

AudioEye is a digital accessibility platform designed to improve accessibility and reduce legal and compliance risk across digital experiences—primarily websites. Using a technology-first approach that combines automation with expert human oversight, AudioEye delivers a comprehensive accessibility solution for businesses of all sizes, at an affordable price. AudioEye helps organizations meet international accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, as well as local laws and regulations in various regions, such as the ADA (USA), the Equality Act (UK), the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA - Canada), and others.

Why is Digital Accessibility Important?

Digital accessibility ensures that people with disabilities have equal access to online content and services. This includes users who are blind or visually impaired, deaf or hard of hearing, or those with cognitive, motor, or other disabilities. Beyond being the right thing to do, digital accessibility is increasingly a legal requirement in many countries and regions.

Making your website accessible can help your business:

• Comply with applicable local laws and global standards

• Avoid potential legal risk

• Improve user experience for a broader audience

• Support social responsibility and inclusivity goals

• Reach a larger market—1 in 4 adults globally has a disability that could affect their ability to interact with your digital content

Who Needs to Be Compliant?

Any organization that offers goods, services, or information online should prioritize accessibility—whether it’s required by law or not. Laws such as the ADA (USA), AODA (Canada), Equality Act (UK), and the Disability Act (Ireland) outline requirements for accessible digital services. However, all website owners have a responsibility to consider the needs of all users, regardless of jurisdiction.

AudioEye takes the complexity out of compliance by helping you create a more inclusive online experience for everyone.
