What is AudioEye?
AudioEye is a digital accessibility platform designed to improve accessibility and reduce legal and compliance risk across digital experiences—primarily websites. Using a technology-first approach that combines automation with expert human oversight, AudioEye delivers a comprehensive accessibility solution for businesses of all sizes, at an affordable price. AudioEye helps organizations meet international accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, as well as local laws and regulations in various regions, such as the ADA (USA), the Equality Act (UK), the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA - Canada), and others.
Why is Digital Accessibility Important?
Digital accessibility ensures that people with disabilities have equal access to online content and services. This includes users who are blind or visually impaired, deaf or hard of hearing, or those with cognitive, motor, or other disabilities. Beyond being the right thing to do, digital accessibility is increasingly a legal requirement in many countries and regions.
Making your website accessible can help your business:
• Comply with applicable local laws and global standards
• Avoid potential legal risk
• Improve user experience for a broader audience
• Support social responsibility and inclusivity goals
• Reach a larger market—1 in 4 adults globally has a disability that could affect their ability to interact with your digital content
What Does AudioEye Do?
AudioEye is an industry-leading accessibility solution that provides:
• Automated scanning and fixing of accessibility issues
• Ongoing compliance monitoring
• Real-time reporting and analytics
• Self-serve accessibility tools like the Visual Toolkit
• A 24/7 Help Desk for users needing assistance

AudioEye’s solution can be installed without any code via JavaScript or plugin integrations, making setup quick and easy.
Does AudioEye make the site fully WCAG compliant?
AudioEye works by rewriting the DOM in real time to improve accessibility and bring the site closer to WCAG compliance.
While it does not guarantee 100% WCAG compliance on its own, it demonstrates that significant, good-faith steps have been taken toward meeting accessibility standards. This is often sufficient to show progress and intent, which helps keep site owners on the right side of accessibility legislation.
Achieving full WCAG compliance may still require developer-led changes to the site’s underlying code, particularly for complex templates or custom functionality.
Does AudioEye only provide protection for the site owner?
AudioEye provides both accessibility improvements and a level of legal risk mitigation.
As part of the solution, AudioEye supplies documentation and an accessibility statement that can be added to your site, outlining the steps taken to improve accessibility. This helps demonstrate meaningful effort toward compliance.
AudioEye also offers higher-tier plans that include legal support from accessibility experts. These plans are significantly more expensive and are optional, depending on the level of protection a business requires.
Does ECI have agreed or discounted pricing for AudioEye plans?
No. There is no special or negotiated pricing in place between ECI and AudioEye.

Who Needs to Be Compliant?
Any organization that offers goods, services, or information online should prioritize accessibility—whether it’s required by law or not. Laws such as the ADA (USA), AODA (Canada), Equality Act (UK), and the Disability Act (Ireland) outline requirements for accessible digital services. However, all website owners have a responsibility to consider the needs of all users, regardless of jurisdiction.
AudioEye takes the complexity out of compliance by helping you create a more inclusive online experience for everyone.
