We have two Apps for Nuvei. One for Credit Cards and the other for ACH payments. This enables you to decide who can use which services where.
π Important: ACH payments is only available for USA customers.
π Important: ACH can take 3-5 days to be sent to your bank.
π Important: To get ACH setup, you will need to contact our ECI NET1 team through customer success.
Getting Started
Once you have your Merchant ID from the NET1 team, then your integration starts in the store admin.
Click the App Store link in the main menu
Click the Payment category to filter the list.
Click the provider you prefer and follow the directions to finish the integration.
Enable it in the Payment section
When selecting invoices or paying on the storefront they will now see the ACH option.
You can enable ACH for the following
Storefront Orders
Not recommended for any customers you wouldn't extended credit to as ACH can take 3-5 days to be sent to your bank.
Invoice and Account payments
You can also add Convenience Fees / Surcharges to both Apps, if you need to pass on fees to your customer
ERP Support
Each ERP handles payments differently. Check your ERP setup page to find out what is supported.

How can I test ACH is working?

ACH - How do we know payment was approved?
ACH payments can take several days to fully move through the ACH processors. Thus, you will need to login to Nuvei regularly to confirm a payment has been made. You will see the Approval status in the transaction area of Nuvei cPanel.
How do I reconcile my ACH and Credit cards?

What happens when an ACH payment is made?
When an ACH payment is processed, it is sent to Spruce, and the corresponding invoices are marked as βPaid.β
Does the ACH βPaidβ status in Spruce mean the money is in my account?
No, the βPaidβ status only indicates a successful transaction. It does not confirm that the funds have reached your account.
How can I confirm the ACH funds have been received?
You must reconcile your ACH payments to verify that the funds have been deposited into your account.
Can ACH payments initially succeed but later fail?
Yes, ACH payments can initially be successful but may later report as NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds). If this happens, you must manually remove the βPaidβ status from the relevant Spruce invoices and contact the customer to address the unsuccessful payment.
How long does it take for ACH payments to be funded?
ACH payments typically take 3β5 days to be funded and appear in your account.
What happens if a consumer rejects an ACH transaction?
If a consumer disputes or rejects an ACH transaction, they have up to six months to file the objection. When this occurs, the funds will be withdrawn from your account.
How do I restrict certain customers to ACH but only customers I trust.
1. Create a Label
β’ Navigate to Labels from the left sidebar menu.
β’ Click on + New Label at the top.
β’ Enter a name for the label (e.g., ACH) and assign it to Customers.
β’ Save the label.
2. Apply the Label to a Customer
β’ Go to Accounts from the sidebar.
β’ Find the customer you want to assign the label to.
β’ You can multi-select to apply labels.
3. Restrict the ACH Payment Method by Label
β’ Navigate to Store Settings > Payment Methods.
β’ Locate the ACH payment method and click Settings.
β’ In the Restrict by customer label section, search for and select the ACH label.
β’ Save the settings.
