Sticky posts are handy way to "stick" important posts to the top of your Blog homepage. The Blog homepage (Latest posts) always displays post in the descending date order, that is the most recent posts published will be at the top, followed by the next most recent post. This brings the freshest content to the top of your homepage.

However, you may have some evergreen posts that you wish to always be first on your Blog homepage. Sticky posts allow you to choose a post that should always be displayed on top of your other posts regardless of its published date.

In the image below post "213" was published before post "218" but it still shows first because it is a sticky post.
