Adding help documents and videos to products can really help end users make the correct item selection from your store.

Media files cover instruction manuals, certificates, safety data sheets or hosted video links.

There are 2 ways to add media to your store. Media can be added manually within the products module, or imported. Imports will help when you are attaching media to large numbers of products.

Lets look at adding media manually

First, click into products and search for the product you would like to add media too.

Now click on the 'Media' tab

Product videos - simple paste the link from your hosting platform into the 'add video URL' box and click on the plus sign. Don't forget to save your work!

Product Documents - again, you have the ability to paste in a hosted URL for your product documents. Alternatively if you have a hard copy saved on your PC, you can browse or drag these into play - just click or drag documents into the below area;

Importing Media

You can find the import file within products, imports, 'Product Additional Docs & Videos'

Click on 'Product Additional Docs & Videos' and download our import template - this can be found at the top right of the page.

Simply follow the instructions on our import rules tab and you should be in good shape!

Top tip ๐Ÿ’ก - you can host documents on our media manager and grab the document URL link which will be added to your import.

Click into the media manager on your adminscreen. You can create a new folder in the media manager for your help documents.

Once you have created your folder, click into it and start uploading your documents.

Once your documents are loaded, click on one of them. You can now grab our hosted URL for this document which can be added to your import!

If you are new to imports, you can read our Imports 101 help guide here
