Just before your customer places their order is a good time to remind them of where to find your terms and conditions and your privacy policy. It helps with your GDPR compliance too. Here's how to do it:
In the store admin click Store Settings → Checkout → "Place Order" section
Add something like this in the text editor:
When placing this order you are also agreeing to our terms and conditions and our privacy policy.If you like you can add a little flare by including a check box icon before the text. Do this by opening the View → Source Code menu and put this in before your text:
