Finding Ecommerce Orders from Point of Sale
Ecommerce orders should automatically populate in the Orders dropdown within Point of Sale. This provides quick access to recently created orders without leaving the Point-of-Sale workflow.
Viewing All Ecommerce Orders
To view the full list of ecommerce orders, use the E-Commerce inquiry from the Point-of-Sale menu.
1. From Point of Sale, choose Inquiry > E-Commerce.
2. The E-Commerce Quotes & Orders screen displays.
Use this inquiry when you need to review ecommerce activity beyond the orders currently visible in the Point-of-Sale Orders dropdown.
Reviewing the Ecommerce Order Queue
The E-Commerce Quotes & Orders screen displays ecommerce quotes and orders. To focus only on online orders, clear the Quotes checkbox and leave Orders selected.
1. Clear the Quotes checkbox.
2. Confirm the Orders checkbox remains selected.
3. Review the order list displayed in the queue.
The queue provides a consolidated listing of ecommerce orders and includes the EvolutionX Source ID, Spruce document number, document date, requested date, and order amount.
Filtering the Ecommerce Order Queue
If you need to narrow the order list, choose Selection and enter the appropriate search criteria.
1. Choose Selection.
2. Select the desired filter method: By Account, Date Range, or Amount Range.
3. Enter the applicable criteria and choose Accept.
Searching by EvolutionX Order Number
If you know the EvolutionX order number, you can also locate the corresponding Spruce order from Documents. When searching, use the numeric EvolutionX order number without the "O-" prefix.
1. Open Documents in Spruce.
2. Enter the EvolutionX order number in the Notes search field, excluding the O- prefix.
3. Process the search to display the matching Spruce document.
This method is useful when customer service staff or managers have the EvolutionX reference number and need to quickly locate the related Spruce order.
Managing Ecommerce Order Notifications
Review the branch ecommerce notification setting to ensure new ecommerce orders are routed to the appropriate user or group. Notification settings are maintained in Branch Setup.
1. Open Branch Setup from the applicable maintenance/database menu.
2. Select the branch and choose the Ecommerce tab.
3. Review the Notify User or Group field.
4. Select the appropriate user, or configure a group when multiple people should receive ecommerce order notifications.
Use a group when more than one person should be responsible for monitoring incoming ecommerce orders.
