AI Agent: Search settings report

Ask the AI Agent to review your store's search setup, recipe weights, catalog priorities, redirects for recommended actions.

Written by Andy Flint

This feature is currently pre-release. Please contact customer success to enable.

Ask the AI Agent to audit your store’s search configuration and suggest practical improvements — without manually opening every search screen.

The search settings report gathers read-only data such as:

  • Search recipe and field weights (including custom recipes)

  • Catalog container priorities relevant to search

  • Redirects and search-assist configuration where applicable

  • Which AI Search and Search V2 pre-releases your store has enabled

The agent returns a structured review: what looks healthy, what might hurt relevance, and a recommended recipe or next steps aligned with EvolutionX search best practices.

Who can use it

Any Admin user with Store Settings permission can run the search report. You do not need a separate “search report” pre-release flag on current production builds — the tool is available to eligible users and advises when your store is missing recommended AI Search stack flags (for example ai-search, search-v2).

If the report mentions that recommendations are tailored for stores on the full AI Search stack, work with Customer Success to enable the suggested pre-releases before expecting every recommendation to apply on your store.

Example prompts

  • “Run a search settings report for my store.”

  • “Why are search results irrelevant for part numbers?”

  • “Compare my search recipe to EvolutionX defaults and suggest changes.”

What the agent will not do

  • Change search settings automatically without your direction — review recommendations before applying changes in Admin.

  • Replace hands-on testing on your storefront — always spot-check high-traffic searches after recipe changes.
