Use the AI Agent in EvolutionX Admin to create new products or update existing ones using everyday language — for example, “Create a simple product called Brass Fitting SKU BF-100 at $12.99” or “Set the price of SKU ABC-123 to $45.”
The agent applies changes through the same product APIs Admin uses when you edit products manually. That means:
Your product permissions still apply — users who cannot edit products in Admin cannot ask the agent to change them either.
Changes follow your store’s normal validation rules (required fields, catalog rules, and so on).
Product updates are subject to the same auditing and logging as manual product saves.
What you can ask for
Typical requests include:
Creating a new product with name, SKU, price, and basic catalog fields
Updating price, description, visibility, or other fields on an existing SKU
Bulk-style updates when the agent has the right context (for example, after you specify which products to change)
The agent discovers the correct Admin API operations for your store. You do not need to know endpoint names.
How to use it
Open the AI Agent from Admin (same chat widget as other AI features).
Describe what you want in plain language. Include SKUs or product names when updating existing items.
Review the agent’s summary and any confirmation prompts before approving destructive or wide-reaching changes.
Check the product in Admin if something looks unexpected — treat the agent as an assistant, not a substitute for your product data review.
Tips for better results
Be specific: SKU, field name, and target value reduce back-and-forth.
One logical change per message often works better than a long list of unrelated edits.
If the agent says it cannot perform an action, your user account may lack product permission, or the store may not have this capability enabled yet.
