Issue a Welcome Email

Follow the steps below to issue a welcome email from the EvoX Admin Screen

A Welcome Email includes the customer's temporary log in credentials, along with information about the website.

The template used is called Welcome (from Dealer) and can be found in Emails > Templates. You can customise this template however you need to retain certain variables in order for the correct information to be published - talk to our Support Team for help on this.

To issue a Welcome Email, go to Customers > All Users > Invites:

Use the white boxes at the top of the columns to search for the user name, user email or company (searching on the Company field is useful if you have more than one user to issue an email to)

Once you have identified the user(s), tick the box to the left hand side - it will highlight yellow:

For multiple users:

Click on the drop down box above the tick list and select 'Invite with Welcome Email & Temporary password':

This will send the email to the user.

You can check the delivery status of the email in Emails > History

Once a customer receives the email and they use the log in credentials on the website for the first time, they will then be prompted to choose a permanent password of their own.

Note - the temporary password on the welcome email is valid for 30 days.
