1. Download the and install “EvoLink Installation (zipped file)” by typing in URL select save and save it to a location of your choice. Open the zip file and run setup. Click YES if you receive prompts for system files to be replaced during the setup.
2. You may need to restart the server as part of the installation.
3. To complete the installation download the Latest Evolink version at http://delstree.com/evolink.html
and select save and save it to the folder c:\program files\EvoLink and click yes to overwrite existing file. Please ensure that you have only 1 Evolink.exe file in that folder to avoid confusion.
Setting up EvoLink
Open up EvoLink.
It should be in your “All Programs” called EvoLink with the following icon
When you first open EvoLink you will get a message alerting you that the parameter is not set up as shown below
Click the Yes button to go into the parameter screen and populate as screen shot below:
The Evolution Login should already have EvoLink (case sensitive)
The Evolution Code should be: F7A8444674C76416
The Evolution Server should already be populated with elink1.data-pipe.co.uk
Select the appropriate ODBC driver from the dropdown.
Choose Horizon from the System drop down box (or your chosen back office provider)
The “Auto Start” tick box enables Evolink to start running as soon as the program is started, whether it is started manually or as part of the system start up.
If the default setting whilst installing EvoLink are used then the Evolink.exe program should reside in the c:\program files\evolink folder. To start EvoLink automatically a short cut to the executable should be placed in the ..\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder. This can vary with different versions of Windows.
File Path field under Progress, Pulse, Prima, Vision, Horizon tab should be set to a folder where order xml files will be dropped for Horizon to pick up (c:\Horizon\Evolink orders in this example). Create a folder on local/network drive if required. Please ensure that name of the folder is exactly the same as specified in this field, including caps.
File Path is the folder where orders are placed. This is defined in the Horizon command centre (contact Eci if unsure where order files are placed for processing).
It should be somewhere similar to this screen grab
The “Carriage Product Code” should contain the code that Horizon uses for any web delivery charges.
The “Surfer Customer code” field should contain the account code used by Horizon to be held again new web customers.
XML 2 Way tab
Click on the XML 2 way tab and complete the following:

In the Path field, enter the address of the folder where Command Centre is set to output the customer / prices xml file (in our example it's c:\customers) -. (if unsure please ask Eci where this is currently set – it’s normally Drive:\Horizon\Server\XML_export
Sites to Use (allows): 1
Contract Priority : 0
Matrix Priority: 3
Next step would be to click on evolutionX Settings tab.
In API endpoint field, please enter : https://eu.evoapi.io
In API key field, please enter the API key generated inside your EvoX store
(please ensure that there are no spaces before or after this key)
This should now complete your EvoLink set up. Click the big green ACCEPT button. This will close EvoLink and will require you to launch it again.
