Why Are All Order Confirmation Emails Going to the Same Branch?
In a multi-branch store setup, it’s common to expect that order confirmation emails and fulfillment details align with the specific branch chosen by the customer. However, if all delivery orders are being sent to the same branch, regardless of the customer’s selection, it’s likely due to a default system setting.
Default Behavior
By default, delivery orders are sent to the main (default) branch of the store. This includes associated notifications like order confirmation emails, which are directed to that default branch for processing and fulfillment. This is the system’s fallback behavior when no branch-specific preference is enabled.
👍 Important: Collection orders are always sent to the user’s chosen branch, regardless of this setting.
Solution: Let Users Choose the Branch
To route delivery orders—and their confirmation emails—to the branch selected by the user at checkout, you need to enable a specific setting:
Go to Settings > Store Preferences > Others.
Locate the option: “Send delivery orders to the branch chosen by the user.”
Enable the toggle.
Enabling this setting ensures that delivery orders, along with their confirmation emails, are sent to the branch the customer has chosen, improving fulfillment accuracy and branch-level coordination.
Have a great day! 🎉
