👍 Important: This feature works with budgets that are set in EvoX. This feature does not work for ERP integrations where we lookup budgets from the ERP (DDMS Integration)
This feature allows you to warn users that the current order will exceed their set budget. With this setting enabled, users can still place orders that exceed their budget and these orders will be sent for approval as normal. Read more about budgets
Enabling the feature for a user.
1. Go to the user’s profile and click Edit.
2. In the When Ordering section, locate the toggle labeled Show exceed budget warning message.
3. Enable this toggle to activate the message.
4. Click Save to apply the setting.
Storefront experience
When a user adds items to their cart that exceeds the allocated budget, a notification will appear in the cart, alerting them that their order total exceeds the permitted budget. Users will be able to proceed as normal.
