Exclude from Budget Calculations
The "Exclude Quick Lists from Budget Calculations" feature is designed to give users greater control over their budgeting process.
When enabled, any purchases made from items in a designated "excluded" Quick List by the assigned user will not count towards the budget calculation.
This allows customers to purchase urgently needed, pre-approved supplies even if they are already over budget, helping them maintain business continuity.
Setting Up Exclusions
How to Exclude Quick Lists from Budget Calculations
Grant Access to the Quick List: Ensure the user(s) have access to the Quick List(s) containing the items to be excluded from budgets.
Enable the Feature:
Navigate to the user’s settings page.
Click Edit and locate the "Exclude Quick Lists from Budget Calculations" toggle.
Switch the toggle on to activate the feature.
Select Quick Lists to Exclude:
Once the toggle is enabled, a selection menu for Quick Lists will appear.
Choose the Quick Lists to exclude by moving them to the right-hand selection window.
Save Changes:
Click Save on the user profile to apply the changes.
Your user's settings are now updated. Purchases made from these excluded Quick Lists will no longer count toward budget calculations for this user.
