Visual content has become increasingly important these days, hence why adding pictures to your menus can help with the overall marketing & appearance of your webstore!

First of, for a quick introduction to menu creation, click here!

To add an image to your menu, go to:

Appearance > Menu Manager > Edit Menu and select Image from the dropdown. If you have not created a Menu yet, please click on New Menu first.

You will be presented with a pop-up screen, where you will be prompted to fill in the blanks.

  1. Under Title, insert an image name. This will be a visible message when your customer hovers over the image,

  2. Under Link, insert the URL of the page which you wish your customers to be redirected to,

  3. Under Alternative Text, enter the text you would like an end user to see in the event that they cannot display the image,

  4. Upload the image from your own device or select an existing one from the Media Manager and drag it into the category you want the image to exist.

The other options are not compulsory.
